Yoga Exhibition

Its summer time and everyone needs to look fit and feel healthy in those bikinis, tanks and polo’s. So I went to this year’s Yoga Exhibition at the Metro Toronto Convention Center to see the hottest trends in fitness and health.

According to Dr. David Feldman, professional chiropractor, it is important to live a balanced life - both physically and mentally.

During the Yoga Exhibition, Dr. Feldman put me on a scale and a special contrapment to see how balanced my body was (just a note, I eat like a pig, party almost every night and spent a ridiculous amount of money on a gym membership which I should have used for a massage)

Inhale deeply, I said to myself. There are only about twenty strangers watching me make a huge fool of myself on stage (as Dr. Feldman takes strings and aligns them with different points in my body). What if I’m unbalanced? What the heck does that even mean? If I am unbalanced will my family start sending me balance scales for Christmas gifts?

So what’s the result Doc - am I balanced or did I have too many beers this year?

"Actually, you’re pretty well-balanced", says Dr. Feldman (Yes! no scales for Christmas!) "Your shoulders, hips and back are very well-aligned! However, your left side is about two pounds heavier than your right side - which is average for every person" (that’s okay; I’ll start carrying my beer with my right hand from now on)

Anything over two pounds can mean increased stress and on a serious note even lead to degeneration (arthritis).

His Clinic is at 3080 Yonge St (at Lawrence) Suite 2052

Okay, so my body is balanced, but we all need to know how to keep our bodies healthy - and since everyone is spending money on supplements, why not get some info on the best ones out there.

I was faced with two alternatives for a nutritious vitamin supplement. This Hemp supplement (which I understood more as a leafy weed that you inhale promiscuously) or this other supplement (also green, but grown from Oregon).

Hmmm? I’ve had enough excitement for one day with my whole balanced ordeal, so I went with the green Oregon grown supplement (I mean nothing bad happens in Oregon right?)

So this green supplement was called E3Live. Robert told me that a Spanish celebrity on MTV cribs had bottles of it in her fridge pointed to one and said "Everyone’s got to have this!"

E3Live is a compilation of 63 vitamins that your body takes in - and doesn’t really come out...
It’s a rare organic substance that makes you healthy.
To me it’s green and smells like mother earth in all her glory. Actually, if the Incredible Hulk had a favorite shot at the bar it would look like E3Live (but would ironically please every environmental health guru).

Robert was waiting impatiently for me to try it. So he held a shot in his hand and placed another in mine. I gave him a squirming look, like I was about to throw up before I took it down: 3, 2, 1...Gulp

First Thought: Wow, I’m 6 years old and just ate grass because I know no better.
Second Thought: Damn, this is actually healthy and Spanish lady from Cribs likes it.

I’m SOLD!

Did I mention that E3Live also cures a hangover in 1 hour?
(Expect to see more of E3Live at your local club next month!)
