This year, to kick off the runway for L’Oreal’s Toronto Fashion Week, Mackage took center stage at Liberty Grand.
The story behind Mackage has been a reputation of purity and style
The story behind Mackage has been a reputation of purity and style. Famous for their luxurious high collars and classy details, it’s no wonder why celebrities such as the Hilton sisters, Kim Cattrall and Halle Barry (who owns 11 pieces) can’t get enough of them. Elise Dahan’s and Eran Elfassy’s unique harmony, which flourished in 1999, are the talents behind this chic clothing line.
This year’s fall line was hosted with anticipation and envy. The lights went dim, the restless herd of media and fashionistas still gossiping, and heavy bass finally pounced on everyone’s conversations to open the floor for the opening model. Luxurious fur trimmings and leather accents around the waist are this fall’s fashion must have. Pair your outfits with slim pants to make a sleek impression. Mackage’s final piece, walked down the aisle in a wedding ivory coat that was accompanied by its signature collar. The miraculous fit, lavish material (which flowed through the air) and inspiring detail had photographers clicking away as if a Mona Lisa sprung to life.
When the commotion was still in the air, writers put their pads aside to carry their energy to partying with phenomenal music, entertainment and martini mingling. L’Oreal’s grand opening after-party was hosted by famous socialites Don’t Tell My Booker.

Combine three Dj’s, Cirque Du Soleil performances and a fashion designer who brought masterpieces to life on stage, and you’re left with a party like no other. Bring in the bottles of Moet, Grey Goose and Cristal to the tables to make it a signature night.
